ამბობს - to say something, to tell something // etw. sagen

This transitive irregular verb is somewhat based on the conjugation of medial verbs on -ობ, but has so many individual moods and tenses that its conjugation has to be learnt by heart.
Note that perfect, plusquamperfect and perfect subjunctive (indicative) are identical to the verb ეუბნება.
