მიახლოვდება, მიუახლოვდება 1. to come closer, to be nearing 2. to sneak up on somebody// 1. näherkommen, herankommen, sich näher 2. sich an jemanden anschleichen
Concerning the object for მიუახლოვდება, it can be designated by the dative case or by a preposition: მოვუახლოვდები სახლს and მივუახლოვდები სახლთან both mean the same: I am approaching the house // ich nähere mich dem Haus.

Example: კატა ახლოვდება თაგვს - the cat is closing in on the mouse // die Katze nähert sich der Maus.
The future indicative is derived from the present by adding მი-: მზის ამოსვლის დროს მივახლოვდები (მივუახლოვდები) ქალაქს - at sunrise I am going to approach the town // bei Sonnenaufgang werde ich mich der Stadt nähern.

The conditional mood is derived from the imperfect indicative by adding მი-: მე მერე მივახლოვდებოდი (მივუახლოვდებოდი) სახლს - then I would approach the house // dann würde ich mich dem Haus nähern.
