Note that there is also a noun ერთობა - unity, solidarity. In dictionaries you find this under ე-, derived from ერთი - one. The verb ერთობა is the relative version (ე-) of ართობს - to entertain, to amuse someone; based on რთობა - entertainment, amusement.

This verb is a bit peculiar because usually the ე- in a Class-II verb indicates an indirect object, but there seems to be no object in sentences with ერთობა, only adverbial determinants like გავერთობი მეგობრებთან or გავერთობი კლუბში - I will have fun with my friends or in the club. One can find the expression გავერთობი ცოტას – I will enjoy myself a bit, where the -ს indicates being the object of the verb but logically ცოტა or "a bit" is not an object.

Class-II Verb on -ობა with -ე/-ო aorist: შაბათ-კვირას გავერთობი კლუბში - on the weekend I am going to enjoy myself in a club // am Wochenende werde ich im Club Spaß haben. ძალიან გავერთე სუფრასთან - I enjoyed the supra very much // ich habe die Supra sehr genossen. ის გაერთო მგზავრობა - she enjoyed the journey // sie hat die Reise genossen. Perfect: მე გავრთობოდი, ის გართობოდა (or more rarely მე გავრთობილვარ, ის გართობილა). Pluperfect: მე გავრთობილვიყავი, ის გართობილიყო.
