• დგას - to stand. The conjugation of this irregular verb is quite similar to the one of ადგება!

Note that there are a number of other verbs ადგება where ა- is not the typical preverb but rather the marker of the superessive version. This can be recognized by the "additional" preverbs in such verbs, e.g. the preverbs გამო- and და- in გამოადგება - to be useful // nützlich sein, or კაბა დაადგება მას - the skirt is looking good on her // das Kleid steht ihr. In such verbs, the perfect can be different from the usual one: ფანქარი გამოვსდგომივარ - the pencil has been of use to me // der Stift ist mir nützlich gewesen; კაბა დასდგომია მას - the skirt has looked good on her // das Kleid hat ihr gut gestanden.

Class-II verb on -ება and -ექი/-ა/-ნენ aorist:

Present Indicative:

The future indicative is formed by adding the preverb ა-: მე მალე ავდგები - soon I am going to stand up // ich werde bald aufstehen.

Imperfect Indicative:

The conditional mood is formed by adding the preverb და-: მე მერე დავდგებოდი - then I would stand up // dann würde ich aufstehen.
